Keeping Cats Warm in Winter

A cat sleeps for 14-16 hours a day.

Andrew Lewis of dnclifestyle.com.au says that they prefer an area that is warm, relaxing and raised up off the ground and preferably an enclosed space.

Andrew also recommends that your cats have a number of sleeping areas and/or cat beds available, preferably in more than one room in your house.

The reason? Each cat in your home needs to have a safe place they can retreat to if they are stressed or nervous. Ideally each cat in your home would have a room or space where they can each retreat so as to give them sanctuary.

Having multiple, comfortable & protected sleeping areas will have almost immediate effect in lowering feline behavioural & health issues such as:

  • reducing stress
  • inter-cat aggression
  • urinary issues
  • inappropriate toileting
  • scratching furniture

The benefit is all yours….a house of happy cats means a home with happy people!

The Hepper POD bed is designed to feature the qualities that your cat needs to feel both safe & comfortable to sleep around your home:

  • Raised up above the ground
  • An enclosed space
  • Option of a washable fleece or smooth blanket
  • Option of changing the pod to an open bed by removing the lid
  • Portable
  • Stylish & modern looks

If the location of your cat bed is relaxing, warm & quiet, your cat will probably sleep there and having multiple sleeping sanctuaries in the home is best for making your cats warm and happy.

Dnclifestyle firmly believe that modern pet furniture not only needs to enrich your pets wellbeing but should also look stylish in your home…that way you have the best of both worlds.
